The designer assists the homeowner in bringing their vision to life. They guide the client through literally hundreds of finish selections. Designers will take your lifestyle into consideration including some selections you might not otherwise have considered such as; window treatments, wall coverings, your closet layout, outlet placement and more.
A builder is a contractor hired by the homeowner to build their home. Often a homeowner will begin their journey to a new home by first searching out a builder. They may then ask them for recommendations for an architect and designer. They manage the construction process, create realistic timelines, budgets, and procure the materials.
The architect creates the floor plan and working documents for the builder to follow to build the home. The homeowner will meet with the architect and explain their room requirements, layout, and style. The interior designer works with the builder and architect to make further suggestions to accommodate the client's lifestyle and furniture plan.
