After 25 years of creating and implementing visual concepts for a major, nationally known retailer and staging the residential listings for her realtor husband, Gracious Home Interiors was born. Although initially, this was not an intentional journey, after numerous requests from area realtors to stage their listings, she officially launched Gracious Home Interiors in the fall of 2017.
Since the launch, Gracious Home Interiors has grown into a full-service interior design and luxury home staging business, serving Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
Lori pulls from her education and experience in the Visual Merchandising arena. As the mother of two teenage boys and two cute, but rambunctious, long-haired chihuahuas, Lori understands that every space must be beautifully designed, with durability and functionality top of mind.
Known for her crisp, clean, and classic design aesthetic, with a hint of a modern coastal vibe, however, Lori understands that it is her client’s style that matters most. She is skilled in blending designs to beautifully fit the personality and lifestyles of her clients.

Sarah has over sixteen years of experience in the home fashion industry. Her work with a high-end European kitchen and cabinetry company inspired her love for modern designs. As a Regional Visual Merchandising Manager for a leading retail company, she was responsible for the visual execution of products and led new store openings and remodels in major cities on the East Coast. Sarah's attention to detail and creative mind, coupled with a B.A. in Marketing from Colorado State University and her retail experience, made her the go-to person for friends and family when decorating and building their homes before she pursued interior design as a career.
As a mother of three, Sarah appreciates function and beauty. She believes that homes and rooms are meant to be lived in but can still feel organized, comfortable and, well designed.
Sarah's design aesthetic is best described as modern-eclectic: she combines clean lines, interesting details, and rich colors to create modern and warm designs. Whether a sophisticated and simple design or something more traditional, Sarah can create a unique design that fits our client's style.
